Well, I'm sorry that I was unable to post those pictures of Tommy, the negatives were screwed up big time, and every time I tried to work on the prints, they were REALLY gray, and it was honestly bugging the hell out of me. I would set the timer to 90 seconds, and it was STILL gray...>.> so I got mad and really discouraged by the whole thing. At first I thought it was my enlarger, or that the red light above my enlarger, but it was the negatives, which really sucks.

But I just did a new photo shoot on Tuesday, two rolls, all silhouettes. I have now been titled the "Silhouettes Goddess" because of my contrast and silhouette portraits. And in all honesty, I actually kind of like the title. xD At least I am well known at something in Photography.

But anyway, I developed one of my films, which was of my friend Amanda (the photo shoot was the most amazing and hilarious photo shoot I have ever done. All because Tommy and Amanda were making smart mouth comments to each other the whole time.) So today we had short classes because it is Friday, but my friend Amanda and I went in our darkroom anyway to at least get some work done. I did a few test prints to see if it was my enlarger that kept giving me the gray prints, BUT IT WASN'T! ^_^ So it was the negatives, which is really discouraging, but oh well. When we were done and hanging up our prints, I turned on the white light to take a peek at the contrast of my favorite portrait that I took of Amanda, AND IT HAD THE AMAZING BLACKS AND WHITES. ^_^ Of course, I will probably spend a week perfecting the print now that I know that I have my rich blacks and white whites again, but it is all worth it in the long run.

Maybe another one of my silhouette prints will get into another gallery. =]
